Job Description: Senior Counselor (Hybrid schedule & Temporary role)We are looking for a results-oriented Senior Counselor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our network of healthcare providers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering growth within our program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of healthcare operations, and a passion for building and maintaining relationships.
Payrate: $18/hr 
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Lead regular one-on-one or group training sessions for existing providers to ensure they are equipped with the latest information and tools.
  • Drive recruitment efforts by actively participating in events and initiatives aimed at attracting high-quality providers to our network.
  • Manage and resolve escalated provider issues promptly and effectively to maintain provider satisfaction and retention.
  • Address urgent concerns related to high-profile providers, focusing on swift resolutions and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to designated providers, serving as their primary point of contact for operational and service-related matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, fellow team members, and stakeholders to communicate and implement operational policy changes effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and program updates to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Extensive travel is an inherent part of the role to meet with providers, attend events, and support network growth initiatives.
  • Undertake additional assignments and responsibilities as directed by senior management to support organizational goals and initiatives.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in provider relations, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with providers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues and make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, etc.).
  • Must be able to travel within the state of Iowa.
