Job Summary: We are seeking a Claims Supervisor to lead our healthcare claims processing team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring accurate claim processing in compliance with regulations. You’ll develop team expertise, analyze trends, and coordinate reporting efforts, all while fostering a positive work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor the Claims Team, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor claims inventory and assign work to maintain productivity.
  • Conduct hiring and staff planning to ensure optimal team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and client requirements.
  • Analyze claims data, identify trends, and generate reports.
  • Train new hires and monitor their performance metrics.
Job Requirements:
  • Associate degree in business administration, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role within healthcare claims processing, with knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH standards.
  • Familiarity with benefit administration platforms (e.g., Javelina) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and skilled in data analysis.
